Happy Sunday Folks! ❤
We stumbled across some very aesthetically pleasing illustrations of women of colour and thought we’d do the generous thing and share! Both are non-US artists which adds to the increasing global, diverse perspectives on – black specifically and non-white generally – identities and experiences. Check them out below!
First up we have the retro themed Monchi Cards, the art project by the London-based illustrator Nyanza D, who has described her series as presenting “contemporary muses”.

Then we noticed the afro-futuristic work of Jamaican artist Taj Francis, who maintains that risk taking is at the heart of his creativity, manifesting itself in the end product.
Be sure to check out the websites of both artists and share with all of your friends!!!
