Learning Resource Centre

Protesting against racism and racist imagery does not only involve demonstrations and petitions; it also requires education and an analytical view of the media. That is why we have designed a learning resource centre, specifically designed for you to develop your own media literacy by engaging with a variety of critical resources that handle racist (as well as colonial and sexist) imagery.

In this section of our website you can find reading materials, documentaries, debating and campaigning tools and information about similar organisations to ERIF and their efforts based all over Europe via the “Trending Corner”. These resources will not only provide you with a solid cultural-historical background in the development, production and global promotion of racist/racialised imagery, but will also help you to establish a firm foundation for you to understand the political relevance of this issue in order to conjure and frame your own counter-arguments and modes of resistance.
